Job Description
District Musical Producer – Academy Park High School (Southeast Delco School District), supplemental contract for the 2026‑2027 school year. Starting date: immediately.
Responsibilities
Oversee the production of the annual musical.
Manage receipts and purchases for the musical; ensure the Musical Director signs off on all purchases.
Create and maintain a spreadsheet to track purchases and budgets, including item, vendor, total cost, and source of purchase.
Share the purchase and budget spreadsheet routinely with the Musical Director, High School Principal, and Superintendent.
Manage the social media accounts and ensure access for the Musical Director, High School Principal, and Superintendent as needed.
Create the musical’s playbill.
Work closely with the Stage Crew Director, Tech Crew Director, and Costume Director to keep purchases within budget.
Manage advertising for the show.
Create and distribute show t‑shirts.
Attend all auditions, rehearsals, and performances.
Collaborate with other musical leaders as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Musical Director and High School Principal.
Minimum Qualifications
Prior experience producing performances desired.
Strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, and a commitment to supporting and fostering student talent.
Team‑oriented, hands‑on, and passionate about performing arts.
Pass a Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting Background Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, and Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure release (Act 168) forms.

Compensation
34 units for the completion of the whole musical production (1 unit = $96.00). The position is evaluated yearly; previous employment does not guarantee return for the next year.
