Job Summary

Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui’s distinguished all-suite and villa luxury resort, is seeking a creative and forward-thinking Digital Marketing Manager to elevate the resort’s online presence through strategic digital marketing, compelling storytelling, innovative social media campaigns, and impactful audience engagement.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $82,000
What You Will Do

Social Media Management

Own the social, content, and influencer strategy for Fairmont Kea Lani brand, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, revenue goals, and key business priorities.
Lead and manage external social media agency in management of Fairmont Kea Lani social accounts, holding partners accountable to performance KPIs, brand standards and elevated storytelling that reinforces brand pillars.

Direct and approve content strategy, editorial calendars, and publishing cadence.
Oversee and lead end-to-end content production, including concept development, shoot planning, and execution.
Provide strategic creative direction and real-time feedback to agency partners.
Identify opportunities to optimize performance and evolve strategy.

Manage F&B social accounts directly, including content strategy, creative concepting, scheduling, and community engagement.
Manage Fairmont Kea Lani LinkedIn accounts directly, including content strategy, creative concepting, and scheduling.

Influencers & Creator Partnerships

Own and lead influencer and creator strategy, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, target audiences, and business objectives.
Evaluate and vet all incoming influencer/creator requests; manage all influencer/creator correspondence and negotiations.
Design strategic, individualized itineraries for hosted influencers/creators to engineer high-impact, on-brand coverage and measurable outcomes.
Proactively identify and cultivate strategic relationships and long-term partnerships that align with brand positioning and business goals.
Track and assess performance of partnerships; manage Traackr reporting platform.

Digital Campaigns

Facilitate content development and execution of paid social media and supplemental digital campaigns, including Performics Google ads, Meta/Tiktok ads, Sojern Digital Display, and more.
Optimization of brand paid search campaigns.
Facilitate digital optimization and monitoring through reporting and A/B testing.
Perform routine updates to all digital touch points, including websites and partner platforms.

Digital Asset Creative

Development of digital graphics specific to social media, property TVs, and email marketing campaigns, plus physical collateral design as needed.
Copywriting for tactics including social media captioning, email marketing, misc. marketing copy requests.

Email Marketing

Strategy development, creation, and execution of monthly and quarterly newsletters.
Development of monthly pre-arrival newsletter theme, content, and design elements.
Support the development of targeted email marketing campaigns to push specific booking offers, support leisure team initiatives, and address time-sensitive ad hoc needs.
Facilitate coordination between Concierge, Front Desk, Villa team to ensure seamless creation and distribution of digital guest communication pieces.

Media & Photoshoots

Lead planning and execution of media itineraries and social media photoshoot schedules.
Serve as point of contact for media, creators, influencers, and photography partners.
Anticipate needs and proactively manage details to deliver elevated, on-brand experiences that drive meaningful media exposure.

Reporting & Tracking

Manage and execute monthly PR report, submission to corp PR team.
Manage and execute monthly social report for Fairmont Kea Lani, Ko, and Pilina channels.
Manage reporting for email marketing newsletters.
Assist with supplemental digital campaign reporting.

Qualifications

High School diploma (or equivalent) and/or vocational training.
Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
Previous experience (1–2 years preferred) in at least one area of Marketing, Public Relations, and/or Social Media required.
Previous professional experience working in Hawaiʻi preferred.
