The Boeing Company’s Specialized Infrastructure Operations Organization is seeking a Mid-Level Video Conferencing and Multimedia Technician to join our team in Berkeley, MO. The Conference Room Support Specialist provides direct computing, networking and telecommunications support to executive clients within the program. The technician will provide technical consultation and lead activities to meet executive needs while ensuring strong customer relations.
Position Responsibilities

Ensure premium Information Technology (IT) support to all levels of executives including staff
Provide day‑to‑day operational support for Video Teleconference Center (VTC) systems, including endpoint troubleshooting, room audio/video (AV) hardware, codecs, cameras, microphones, displays
Respond to help‑desk tickets and user requests for virtual meeting setup, escalation, and incident resolution
Perform regular preventive maintenance, testing and software/firmware updates on AV and VTC equipment
Lead process improvements with internal and external partners to develop and execute integrated technologies
Work with executives to provide support of computing hardware and software services, maintenance and general networking needs
Inform customers of technology advancements as applicable
Provide user training and quick reference guides for common VTC tasks and best practices
Provide comprehensive computing and VTC support at customer meetings
Perform restoration of routine to complex computing operations
Provide comprehensive computing support in isolated environments, from desktops to servers
Provide broad range of basic systems and application support
Provide technical support and assistance to customers, whether on the phone or in person
Basic Qualifications (Required)

Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
Active Security+ certification or ability to obtain it within 6 months of start date
3+ years of experience with audio‑visual (AV) and video‑teleconference (VTC) components, systems, products, and equipment
3+ years of experience in performing system administration tasks on Windows and Linux hosts, including installing security patches and making configuration changes to support security requirements
3+ years of experience supporting computing in isolated environments for desktops and servers
3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing computing system hardware and software
Willingness to work flexible hours, including on‑call support as needed (weekends and holidays)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
3+ years of experience in an IT environment as a team lead (preferably operations)
Experience with customer service
Experience with the full range of Windows Server and desktop operating systems (Server 2003‑2016, Windows 7 and 10)
Security, Eligibility, and Other Requirements

Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
Must comply with the Drug‑Free Workplace testing requirements
Must hold an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or one active within the past 24 months)
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee or U.S. national)
Position offers relocation based on eligibility

Pay range: $95,050 – $129,950
