About Cannonball:Cannonball Music Hall is an independent live music venue and bar in Raleigh, NC, built for local artists and the people who love them. We host everything from live metal, rock, indie, and bluegrass to comedy open mics, themed parties, Burlesque, and movie nights. Basically we'll try anything once. We're proudly community-focused, unapologetically unpretentious, and believe the best nights out only need great people, loud music, and a cold drink.About the Position:10–15 Hours Per Week | Flexible Schedule | Evenings & Weekends RequiredWe are looking for a reliable creative to join our small team and help tell the story of Cannonball online. You'll create content, cover live events, and keep our social channels active with the same personality that people experience when they walk through the door.Responsibilities:Create and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTokCapture photos and videos during concerts, comedy shows, and special eventsEdit short-form videos, reels, and storiesDesign simple graphics using Canva or AdobeCCWrite captions and schedule posts promoting upcoming eventsBrainstorm creative content ideas and social campaignsHighlight bands, comedians, drinks, staff, and behind-the-scenes momentsMonitor comments and messages when needed and flag anything requiring a responseHelp maintain a consistent voice and personality across all platformsRequirements:Experience creating engaging social media contentAbility to shoot and edit quality photos and videos on a phone or cameraUnderstanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and current social trendsFamiliarity with Meta Business SuiteStrong writing skills and a good sense of humorOrganized and able to manage multiple upcoming eventsComfortable working independentlyCan regularly work evenings and weekends during live events (at least once a week)Love local music, comedy, and community eventsHours and Compensation:10–15 hours per week $20/hrFlexible schedule with some required evening and weekend coverageOpportunity to grow with one of Raleigh's most unique independent venuesTo Apply: Send us a brief introduction, resume, and portfolio to Cannonballmusicnc@gmail.com
