Middleware Hosting L3 Support Analyst

NTT DATA's Client is seeking a Middleware Hosting L3 Support Analyst is a high-level role responsible for assisting with Middleware Hosting support, including the following Middleware Products: WebSphere ND 9.0.5.x, IBM Liberty 25.x, Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat 10.x, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, Oracle HTTP Server, NGNIX, and Nodejs. The overall objective of the Middleware Web/App Engineer for Build/Integration is to build these applications in compliance to our Engineering standards and support the Middleware Infrastructure for these applications as a Subject Matter Expert, including troubleshooting issues, maintaining current patch levels, setting up and maintaining connectivity between application servers and web servers, understanding protocols and ciphers, and communicating and working well with developers and products support application teams. This role requires someone who can work independently but can also be a team player.
Responsibilities:
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
Build Middleware infrastructure using Client's Automation tools
Keep projects up to date with current patching
Major Incident Resolution
Assist in Load Balancing and Firewall setups
Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolutions to restore services
Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and create automation of repetitive tasks
Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and examine and update processes and procedures as necessary
Provide technical/strategic direction and documentation to lower level analysts
Develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices.
Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions.
Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Adhere to Client's policies and procedures
Work on rotating 24/7 on-call support
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
Experience with at least 2 of following Application Server: IBM WebSphere ND 9.0.5.x, IBM Liberty 25.x, Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat 10.x
Experience with at least 2 of following Web Server: IBM HTTP, Oracle HTTP, NGNIX, Apache
Good knowledge of Linux/Unix
Basic Database and SQL knowledge is an advantage
Strong Troubleshooting knowledge.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred, not required
Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Education Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent work experience. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($55 to 65 hourly). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
