Role Overview
We are seeking an Audiovisual Engineer to provide AV system design services for U.S. government customers. The role involves designing, configuring, and operating advanced AV systems, requiring travel to various job sites. The position is for the first shift with occasional compensated after‑hours support.

Key Responsibilities

Survey, plan, develop, design, configure, and test multi‑classification AV solutions.

Generate custom audiovisual system designs, including DSP layouts and system configurations.

Attend customer stakeholder meetings to document or validate system requirements.

Research, identify, and recommend technology options to address customer needs.

Draft system engineering documentation, including signal flows, line diagrams, and bills of materials.

Support onsite installation of AV systems and lead system configuration phases.

Coordinate with customer facilities teams and on‑site subcontractors and vendors.

Support the development of end‑user training materials and operations plans.

Perform in‑house testing and on‑site commissioning at client locations.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master’s with 3 years’ related work experience).

3+ years of related work experience is required, with 5+ years preferred for a higher‑level role.

Experience with AV systems field installation is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree or higher.

AVIXA CTS certification.

Experience with DSP platforms such as Biamp or QSC.

Experience with Crestron, Extron, and Thinklogical systems.

Adjudicated Full Scope Polygraph.

Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $55.00 and $65.00 per hour.
