Role Description:
As Insurance Account Manager for Michael Feulner State Farm, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.
Responsibilities:
Prospect for potential clients
using leads from referrals, networking, cold calling, email/online outreach, or marketing campaigns.
Recommend appropriate coverage options
based on customer needs and budget.
Quote premiums and explain policy terms
clearly, including deductibles, exclusions, limits, and coverage benefits.
Sell and enroll clients in insurance policies , completing applications accurately and on time.
Coordinate underwriting and documentation
by submitting required forms and supporting materials.
Qualifications:
Experience in Sales preferred.
Leadership and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
Willingness to obtain a P&C and Life & Health License
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Confidence to discuss and teach consumers complicated topics.
Must be willing to work in a base salary + commission pay structure
Must be willing to work in office to enable better continual training and development of sales skills
Insurance Sales is a momentum-based job and the pay range is very realistic. You should expect to be on the lower end of the range as you learn the ropes and build your pipeline, over the 3rd-5th month your pay should slide up the scale. Higher is very possible for those that really excel.
