Audio/Video & Low Voltage Field Technician in Hagerstown

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and troubleshoot audiovisual, CCTV, and door access systems

Installation/Mounting of TVs and Display Boards in various environments

Collaborate with clients to determine their audiovisual, CCTV, and door access needs

Able to collaborate with Bridged Technology's team to efficiently design, quote and assist with sale of the system

Set up and operate audiovisual equipment for events, meetings, and presentations

Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on installed systems and systems we've inherited

Test and evaluate new audiovisual technologies and recommend upgrades or enhancements

Create and maintain documentation such as schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment inventory

Skills

Proficient in telecommunication systems and protocols

Strong software troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of low voltage systems and wiring principles

Basic construction knowledge

Familiarity with computer hardware components and configurations

Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings

Understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles

Proficient in the use of hand tools for installation and repair work

Experience with cabling and cable management practices

Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individuals
