What You’ll Do
In our Customer Care area, the Relationship Manager develops deep relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, and third‑party administrators in the Kentucky area (10‑M – 200‑M market space). This role is the strategic partner to our clients and advisors, providing creative solutions that meet business goals of retention, growth, and retirement readiness.

Collaborate with the plan sponsor and the advisor on plan design, investments, retirement readiness, services, and new opportunities.

Conduct plan‑level health reviews.

Problem‑solve complex issues.

Who You Are
A bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent retirement industry experience required.

Qualified plan knowledge strongly preferred (Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution).

Excellent leadership, negotiation, presentation, organization, and problem‑solving skills required.

Superior interpersonal, analytical, and oral and written communication skills.

Must become an associated person of Principal Securities, Inc.

Travel required (25‑30%) – mostly day travel with occasional overnight travel.

Salary Range
Targeted base salary ranges: Non‑sales positions have a bonus program; sales positions eligible for incentives.

Relationship Manager II: $84,600 – $139,700 per year

Relationship Manager III: $104,400 – $171,600 per year

Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and allows paid time away from the office for vacation, personal or short‑term illness. Employees do not accrue a bank of time off; there is no set number of days.

Location
Ideal candidate will reside in Kentucky, Indiana, or Ohio due to territory requirements.
