Relationship Manager II

What You'll Do

In our Customer Care area, the Relationship Manager develops deep relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, and third‑party administrators in the Kentucky 10M‑200M market space. This role is the strategic partner to clients and advisors to provide creative solutions that meet business goals of retention, growth, and retirement readiness.
Collaborate with the plan sponsor and the advisor on plan design, investments, retirement readiness, services and new opportunities.
Conduct plan‑level health reviews.
Problem‑solve complex issues at the intersection of financial services and technology.
Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent retirement industry experience.
Qualified plan knowledge strongly preferred (Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution).
Excellent demonstrated leadership, negotiation, presentation, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Superior interpersonal, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
Must become an associated person of Principal Securities, Inc.
Travel required (25‑30%); primarily day travel with some overnight travel.
Licensing required based on state/federal laws and/or company policy; preferred within 5 months of employment: FINRA Series 6 or 7, FINRA Series63, Life & Health.
Salary Range

Relationship ManagerII: $84,600 – $139,700 per year
Relationship ManagerIII: $104,400 – $171,600 per year

Location & Travel

Ideal candidates will reside in Kentucky, Indiana, or Ohio.
