Summary
The Sales Director manages the sales process for ThriveMore at Home – a Continuing Care Services Without Lodging program currently serving Raleigh, North Carolina and the surrounding areas. The role follows and manages prospects through their journey until membership, supervises a sales consultant once the program reaches membership level, and maintains or exceeds budgeted membership goals.
Qualification Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree and a working knowledge of sales practices and procedures.
- Requires prior direct sales experience, preferably in senior living industry, along with the application of this knowledge to sales activities such as sales presentations and customer prospecting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred experience selling an expansion or new senior living community.

- Ability to present to large groups as well as one-on-one client presentations.
- Interact with prospective residents – conducting interviews and following up on sales leads.

- High-energy, self-starter with strong goal orientation and a big picture perspective.
- Must have basic mathematics and computer literacy.
- Demonstrates motivation and good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

Essential Functions
- Actively pursues prospects through remote work and home visits, including networking, holding visits and luncheons, telephone follow‑up, prospecting, etc.
- Maintains knowledge of local competition and other CCaH programs.
- Plans and participates in sales presentations for lunch and learns and similar events as well as in‑home appointments.
- Meets with interested individuals and couples, discusses program features and pre‑qualifies customers for membership.
- Completes all sales and application paperwork, ensuring forms are thorough, accurate, and includes Senior Sign document completion.
- Ensures corrections are made quickly on any application documents with omissions or errors and resolves sales‑related issues to expedite membership.
- Maintains accurate records on prospective customers in CRM and submits reports on daily and weekly activities, including appointments, prospecting and results.
- Works with Chief Marketing Officer on marketing strategies for the community.
Physical Demands
- Travels regularly within the designated service area, including driving to client homes and event locations.
- Sits, stands, and walks for extended periods during meetings, presentations, and events.
- Communicates effectively in both one‑on‑one and group settings, including speaking to large audiences.
- Uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and CRM systems.
- Occasionally lifts or carries materials (e.g., marketing materials, presentation supplies) up to approximately 15–20 pounds.
- Requires sustained energy, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, goal‑oriented sales environment.
