Digital Marketing Strategist & Growth Manager (1099 Contract)
The Role
We are looking for a highly analytical Digital Marketing Strategist to serve as the engine behind our growth. This role comes with a unique transition period. Currently, our in-house creative coordinator handles graphic design, social media scheduling, and asset creation. She is transitioning into a new role within our company and will train you on our current processes. Over time, your goal will be to fully take over the marketing strategy while helping us transition the day-to-day asset creation to a new freelance or off-site graphic designer. Because of this transition, we need a strategist who is also comfortable rolling up their sleeves.
Responsibilities
What You Will Do:
Drive Strategy & Playbooks: Design standardized, repeatable marketing timelines for Main Stage shows and Academy enrollments.
Manage Ad Spend: Actively build, manage, and optimize campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Search, and TikTok.
Bridge the Creative Gap: Jump into Photoshop to make quick edits to existing posters, flyers, or digital assets when a fast turnaround is needed.
Manage the Creative Handoff: Work with our outgoing coordinator to understand the current visual brand, and eventually help source and direct a new freelance/off-site graphic designer.
Dynamic Budgeting: Monitor ticket sales and enrollments daily, shifting ad spend dynamically.
Design Cross-Pollination Funnels: Build automated email flows and campaigns that cross-promote Ziegfeld Main Stage, the Arts Academy, and Z's.
Qualifications
Who You Are:
A Performance Marketer First: Fluency in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and email marketing platforms.
Design-Capable: Proficient enough in Photoshop and Canva to update layers, change copy on a poster, and export assets.
Agile & Adaptable: Thrive in a volatile, event-based business model.
Output-Driven: You work efficiently and deliver results.
Additional Information
Role Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Time Commitment: Flexible (Part-Time to Full-Time). This is an output-based role; approx 15 to 25 hours per week.
Compensation: $750 – $1,000 per week, commensurate with experience and efficiency.
Location: Ogden, UT (Hybrid/Remote options available).
