Digital Communications Specialist II

This position will lead the maintenance and operations of the Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA) websites and other digital content published by DVHA. They will be required to manage both fast pace projects with quick turn arounds and longer, strategic projects. They will need to be able to make many updates quickly, be organized and able to track various website tasks. This role is highly collaborative but also has a high level of independence. The position will be expected to collaborate with members from various levels of the organization related to subject content and timelines. The position will act independently as it will be the website and digital content subject matter expert and will be looked to for everything from advice and guidance to implementation. The position will report to the DVHA Director of Customer Communication.
Experience with the following is desired: Website administration, specifically Drupal 10 Website strategy Website design Working with an interdisciplinary team Using a project management tool Microsoft Office suite

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in communications, English, computer science, web or graphic design, political science, education, or related field AND three (3) or more years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field. OR Five (5) years or more of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field. OR One (1) year experience as Digital Communications Specialist I with the Agency of Education.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in media and client relations or public policy with strong focus in digital, web or social media.
