Assistant Sales Manager - Shakopee, MN

We're looking for a motivated Assistant Sales Manager to help lead our sales team at our Shakopee location. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership, coaching, customer interaction, and working in a fast-paced dealership environment where no two days are the same.

As an Assistant Sales Manager, you'll help oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department while supporting and coaching the sales team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You'll assist with sales performance, customer follow-up, and team development, while collaborating with other departments to ensure a professional, organized, and customer-focused dealership environment.

What You'll Do
In this role, you'll help oversee the day-to-day operation of the Sales department.
Responsibilities Include:
• Help lead and support the daily operations of the sales department
• Coach and motivate the sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Assist with deal structure, customer follow-up, and sales performance
• Monitor lead activity, CRM usage, and customer communication
• Work closely with finance, service, and other dealership departments
• Support training, onboarding, and development of sales staff
• Help maintain a professional, organized, and customer-ready showroom and lot
• Lead by example through professionalism, communication, and customer-first service
What We're Looking For
A strong candidate will have:
• Sales experience (RV, automotive, marine, or powersports preferred)
• Leadership or management experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
• Organized, motivated, and dependable
• Ability to problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
• Valid driver's license required
