Account Manager | Collateral Partners
We're hiring Account Managers to own client accounts end to end at Collateral Partners, a strategic communications platform serving 400+ investment firms, asset managers, and financial institutions.
This is not a relationship-management-only role. You own the account commercially and operationally: project plans, pod coordination, invoicing, AR, scope, renewals, and expansion. The Account Executive closes the deal and hands you the account at kickoff. From that point, it is yours.
What You'll Own
- The full client account from kickoff forward: project plan, weekly cadence, pod coordination, and daily relationship
- Quality control on every deliverable before it reaches the client
- Invoicing, AR management, and hours-burn tracking across your portfolio
- Scope discipline: triaging requests, documenting changes, and holding the line
- Renewal conversations, starting 60 to 90 days before each cycle ends
- Expansion: spotting the next piece of work, scoping it, proposing it, and closing it yourself
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in account management, client engagement, or program management at a professional services firm, agency, or consultancy
- A track record of managing 4 to 6 concurrent client engagements without dropping anything
- Strong project planning instincts: you maintain a live plan that maps every deliverable, owner, and deadline
- Commercial discipline: invoicing and AR are not someone else's job
- Polished QC instincts: you know the difference between ready and almost ready
- Writing that reads as institutional: notes, updates, and Slack messages at the standard the client expects
- Financial services or professional services background is a strong plus
- Dallas-based or willing to relocate. This role is on-site.
Compensation: Competitive base + performance bonus tied to retention, expansion revenue, and AR health
Location: Dallas, TX (hybrid)
