Marketing & Content Specialist
Premier Sport Psychology

Full-time, permanent · Twin Cities metro · $55,000–$70,000

About Premier Sport Psychology
Premier Sport Psychology is a contract-based sport and performance psychology practice serving professional athletes, collegiate programs, corporate organizations, and individual clients across the Twin Cities and beyond. Our reach spans NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, PWHL, and USA Olympic teams, Power 4 collegiate athletic departments, and high-performing corporate organizations.

We are in an active growth phase — expanding our team, our client portfolio, and our brand presence. This role is central to that expansion. You will help shape how Premier is seen by the athletes, organizations, and corporate partners we serve, while working directly alongside senior leadership to bring our story to life.

About this role
Premier Sport Psychology is seeking a self‑motivated Marketing & Content Specialist with at least 2 years of hands‑on experience in social media content creation, video production, and marketing material development. This is not an entry‑level role — we need someone who has done this work professionally and can hit the ground running with minimal direction.

A meaningful part of this role involves managing the relationship with Premier's high‑level external marketing vendor. You will be the internal point of contact for that partnership — coordinating deliverables, communicating priorities, and ensuring the vendor's output aligns with Premier's brand and business goals. This requires someone who is organized, confident, and comfortable navigating relationships with senior professionals.

You will also work directly with Premier's senior leadership team on a regular basis. The right person is not intimidated by that — they bring ideas to the table, communicate proactively, and operate with the professionalism those relationships require.

What you’ll do
Social media and content creation:

Own Premier’s social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms — creating, scheduling, and managing content consistently

Produce and edit video content from concept through publishing — including filming at events and client sessions, editing, and distributing across platforms

Develop creative marketing materials including graphics, presentations, one‑pagers, and campaign assets that reflect Premier’s brand standards

Monitor performance metrics and adjust content strategy based on engagement and growth data

Stay current on social media trends, particularly within sport, performance, and corporate wellness spaces

Vendor and project management:

Serve as Premier’s primary internal point of contact for the external marketing vendor — managing the relationship, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring alignment with Premier’s priorities

Communicate clearly and professionally with the vendor on timelines, revisions, and expectations

Review vendor output for brand accuracy and quality before it is used externally

Track project status across multiple marketing initiatives and keep leadership informed

Leadership collaboration:

Work directly with Premier’s senior leadership team to understand business priorities and translate them into marketing content and campaigns

Proactively bring ideas, updates, and recommendations to leadership without being asked

Support leadership presentations, proposals, and external communications with polished marketing assets

Required qualifications

2+ years of professional experience creating and managing social media content for a brand, organization, or client — demonstrated results required

2+ years of video creation and editing experience — can show a portfolio of work produced for professional or organizational use

Experience developing marketing materials including graphics, presentations, and campaign assets using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent

Is self‑motivated and manages their own priorities without needing heavy oversight or direction

Is comfortable working directly with senior leaders — communicates proactively, handles feedback well, and brings solutions rather than problems

Has strong written communication skills and an eye for detail — errors in external‑facing content are not acceptable

Preferred qualifications

Familiarity with analytics tools — Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics, or equivalent

Photography experience — comfortable capturing quality images at events and in dynamic settings

Background in sport, communications, marketing, psychology, or a related field

Experience working in or around athletic programs, sports organizations, or performance‑focused companies

Proficiency in project management tools — Asana, Monday, Trello, or similar

This is a great fit if you

Have a proven track record in social media, video, and marketing — you can show your work and speak to results

Are energized by working in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment where your output is visible and your initiative is noticed

Are comfortable working alongside senior leaders and holding your own in those conversations

Take ownership of vendor relationships and project timelines without being reminded

Have genuine interest in sport, performance, or athlete culture — it shows in the quality of what you create

Understand that your work represents Premier’s brand, and you hold yourself to that standard

Compensation and benefits
$55,000–$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and demonstrated skills.

Full benefits package including health insurance and retirement plan

PTO and professional development support

Direct exposure to elite professional sport, collegiate, and corporate environments

A visible role where your work reaches professional athletes, collegiate programs, and corporate leaders

A collaborative, growth‑oriented team that values initiative and high standards
