Position Overview The role of Personal Lines Account Manager will be based in Punta Gorda, FL. You will manage a portfolio of personal insurance accounts by delivering proactive client service, supporting renewals and policy servicing, and providing thoughtful coverage recommendations to meet client needs.
Professional Responsibilities Deliver responsive, high‑quality service as the primary point of contact for personal lines clients, addressing policy inquiries, renewals, endorsements, billing questions, and service requests.
Handle incoming service requests from existing clients with exceptional customer service and timely follow‑up.
Review client accounts to identify eligible discounts, coverage gaps, and personalized insurance recommendations aligned with client needs.
Reevaluate coverage limits and policy structures to ensure clients remain appropriately insured and informed about available coverage options.
Requote and remarket personal lines insurance products as needed or requested to maintain competitive pricing and appropriate coverage.
Support sales agents and collaborate with internal team members to provide seamless service and support agency growth and retention efforts.
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, carrier representatives, and team members to support long‑term account success.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within agency systems, ensuring policy information, communications, and account activity remain current.
Assist clients with policy changes, billing inquiries, and coverage questions while providing professional guidance and support.
Stay informed on industry trends, carrier products, insurance regulations, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications and Requirements Experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance, including home, auto, umbrella, and specialty lines.
Active Florida Property & Casualty insurance license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, peers, and carrier partners.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred but not required.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
