Group Product Manager - Concrete Products

The Job
The Group Product Manager for Concrete Products will manage the short- and long-term P&L of the product line, increase the working capital turns of the portfolio, expand the business with new products and lead cross‑functional teams through the New Product Development Process. They will work with our Commercial and Category Teams to help manage and accelerate the growth of the new POWERSHIFT line of commercial products.
Develop category’s product strategies to meet or exceed the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Identify necessary projects to execute the strategy for product lines within their responsibility.
Partner with international teams to identify high‑impact opportunities to drive growth globally.
Understand market trends to align product strategy with customer needs; develop and execute product roadmap.
Develop and deliver operating plan for assigned portfolio; track, forecast, and present new product financial performance monthly.
Lead development of product roadmaps based on product strategies, NPD program financials, and channel strategies.
Conduct regular VOC visits to understand target market segments and end user needs.
Lead NPD programs from ideation to commercialization; ensure delivery of winning new products through end‑user focused market requirements, aligned business case, design trade‑off management, messaging, and pricing.
Validate Product CTQs, testing & claims with end users.
Communicate product differentiation, positioning, and value proposition externally.
Deliver productivity improvements in the category to remain competitive while preserving valued product features.
Ensure processes are followed to develop new products and deliver on schedule.
Develop brand and product positioning strategy by product line, including financial profitability objectives.
Manage, develop, and mentor a team of Product Managers to achieve business goals.
The Person
BS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of Product Management experience.
3+ years of management experience.
Ability to handle multiple assignments and projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic.
Thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
Experience working in a matrix environment.
Strong project management skills.
Domestic/International travel required (15%).
Preferred Qualifications
Consumer products experience.
Experience working directly with retailers or other large customers.
Experience working for a large global company.
Experience with a matrixed reporting structure.
Experience conducting primary consumer research.
