Director of Sports Information and Operations
Butler Community College is seeking a Director of Sports Information and Operations. The Director of Sports Information and Operations is responsible for the development and implementation of all sports information as it relates to the total college athletic program under the direction of the Athletic Director.

The position will provide support for the operations of all home athletic events, work collaboratively with coaches and student athletes, and ensure both home and visiting media – both print and radio – have accommodations for covering our athletic events. This position aids in advancing support among internal and external stakeholders for the athletic program and provides a wide range of assistance to coaches and athletic staff members.

Salary: Starting @ $57,200 /yr. (Commensurate with education and experience.)

Strong communication skills

Strong budget and finance skills

Strong level of self‑initiative

Background in college athletics

Good verbal skills

Required experience:

Three years experience in Sports Information Operations work, or relevant experience in college athletics

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills

Previous experience in college athletics

Required educational background:

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
