At Baxter, our Mission to Save and Sustain Lives drives our work. As a Territory Business Manager for the Advanced Surgery division, you will represent our surgical portfolio, educate physicians, build relationships, and drive sales throughout your territory.
Responsibilities Achieve sales quotas through direct sale of all surgical products and services.
Grow awareness and educate physicians on the accurate use of our products in on‑label surgical procedures and the benefits of those products.
Call on prospective customers, provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations.
Maintain effective relationships with customers to earn their trust and respect, and meet internal and external expectations.
Monitor sales against forecasts and participate in determining market potential for the territory.
Understand how sales strategies and tactics work in the marketplace and know the competition.
Coordinate with hospital administration, supply chain, materials management, and purchasing.
Demonstrate support for other people and teams, contributing to efforts beyond your own scope.
Provide feedback to supervisor and marketing personnel for development of marketing programs, product line revisions, and pricing changes.
Work autonomously to achieve established goals while proactively communicating with management.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant sales experience, OR 8+ years of operating‑room sales experience.
High School diploma required.
Proven hospital‑based selling experience in the operating room and experience leading a large territory.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, and social skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel at least 50% of the time, possibly to remote or urban areas.
Located within the current territory or willing to relocate.
Familiarity with the posted territory is strongly desired.
Compensation & Benefits Estimated base salary: $80,000 – $110,000 annually. Eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan to earn additional incentive compensation.
