Job Summary
KTIV is seeking an MMJ/reporter to join our award-winning news team.

Duties / Responsibilities

General assignment reporting

Developing and executing unique content daily in collaboration with newsroom management

Creative, energetic, competitive problem‑solving with strong communication skills

Producing compelling storytelling, photography, and videography beyond press‑release reporting

Quickly confirming and delivering rapidly developing stories to air and digital platforms

Strong on‑air delivery and speaking voice

Qualifications / Requirements

Excellent writing skills, news judgment, and ethics

Degree in journalism or a communications‑related field

Experience producing newscasts is preferred but not essential

Driven to produce enterprising, organic news content

Understanding of digital/New Media platforms and strategy

Effective delivery of content for live broadcasts

Strong work ethic, organizational and leadership skills, consistent meeting of deadlines

Integrity, accountability, teamwork
