Responsibilities

Storytelling via pitch and press release writing

Creative development of packages, promotions, events and partnerships

Arranging interviews and landing thought leadership pieces

Coordinating and hosting press trips

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in communications or journalism and 3-5 years PR/related experience; direct travel and lifestyle client background preferred

Strong network of high-level print, digital and broadcast media contacts

Sharp pitching and networking skills

Proficient writing

Self‑starting and hands‑on

Organized and thoughtful

Superior people skills

Problem‑solving techniques

Savvy client counsel

Creative thinking skills

Enjoys working with and mentoring others

Zest for storytelling and a love for travel are musts

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $68,000 - $70,000
