Role Summary

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Social Media Specialist is a key member of the Marketing Team. The person in this role will be responsible for the creation and deployment of social media assets supporting the Kendall Group's campaign and brand initiatives.
Responsibilities

Create the content strategy and calendar for all Kendall Group social platforms and profiles in collaboration with the Marketing Communications team.
Maintain all social profiles, including regularly auditing & updating imagery, descriptions, and links to ensure accurate information across all platforms.
Develop and deploy engaging social content, both through strategic planning and real‑time creation for each business division; proactively seek out innovative content opportunities and create high‑quality content, including graphics, short‑form video, and copy, tailoring content to specific social media channels.
Manage the social inbox for all divisions, replying to social conversations and customer service inquiries, and escalating issues as needed.
Maintain the Kendall Group's brand identity standards and ensure ongoing brand awareness and consistency in all creative materials for social media.
Maintain consistent brand voice across all platforms.
Create reporting dashboards to track social KPIs and goals that can be shared with marketing leadership; evaluate social media analytics to inform future strategies.
Stay up to date on social media advertising tactics to best deploy and advise on opportunities and best practices.
Collaborate with the marketing communications team on integrated campaigns, advising on best practices for social media engagement and paid advertising.
Analyze existing and emerging social channels to advise which channels make sense for each part of the business and identify opportunities for expansion or enhancements to current social presence.
Curate social advocacy content for our field team to amplify campaign, brand, and partner messages that position the Kendall Group as an industry leader.

What You’ll Need

Work Experience: 2 years in social media management, including organic and paid.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field.
Analytics/Computer Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and content creation tools with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and design; experience with social publishing tools such as Oktopost, Hootsuite, Sprout Social; familiarity with emerging social media platforms.
Organization Skills: Strong attention to detail; ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Cross‑functional skills: Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment; assertive and resourceful approach to problem solving.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to see, talk and hear; ability to sit for 8 hours a day.
Travel

Occasional travel for meetings or conferences.
