Program Director, Engineering Living Learning Village
Anticipated Hiring Range: $55,000 - $65,000 (commensurate with experience)
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm, with some evenings and weekend student meetings and program implementation responsibilities.

About the Department: The Division of Academic & Student Affairs (DASA) serves all students at NC State through academic affairs, student affairs, and University College. University Housing serves as a unit within DASA. The Division serves students who live, gather, and seek guidance and support inside and outside of the classroom.
Essential Job Duties
A Living and Learning Village is a shared residential environment where students, staff, and faculty engage in connected curricular and co‑curricular experiences to foster belonging, an intellectually enriching atmosphere, and holistic student development. Village Directors are content‑area professionals responsible for day‑to‑day operations, programmatic leadership, strategic planning, and implementing holistic experiential learning opportunities aligned with the Residence Education Model.
The Engineering Village serves approximately 730 first‑year engineering students. Its focus is creating a community of care to support student wellness and success, helping them build skills through connections for internships, research, and study abroad, and providing access to an in‑house Design Studio/MakerSpace.
Village Director Role and Responsibilities:
– Works closely with partners such as the College of Engineering and the Career Development Center to promote learning aligned with the College's First Year Engineering Program.
