We are seeking an experienced
Brand Designer
to lead the evolution of a complex, multi-brand ecosystem into a unified, scalable brand system.
This is not a logo redesign project. This role is ideal for a strategic designer who thrives on building cohesive brand architecture, refining visual identity systems, and creating enterprise-level brand guidelines that scale across diverse programs and audiences.
What You Will Do
You will play a key role in shaping and modernizing an established organization's brand by:
Evaluating current brand architecture and visual identity systems
Defining a clear master brand and sub-brand framework
Creating a cohesive, scalable design system across multiple business lines
Refining and elevating existing visual language to feel modern and timeless
Developing comprehensive brand guidelines and governance standards
Ensuring consistency across digital, print, events, environmental design, and marketing assets
Providing recommendations for long-term brand system scalability
What You Will Own
Brand architecture and hierarchy recommendations
Master brand system and sub-brand structure
Updated visual identity system (typography, color, iconography, imagery)
Brand application examples across channels
End-to-end brand guidelines documentation
Design system framework for future growth
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a designer who combines strategic thinking with strong execution, and has experience simplifying complex brand environments.
You should bring:
Experience working with multi-brand or portfolio organizations
A track record of brand consolidation and unification projects
Strong expertise in design systems and brand governance
Experience building enterprise-level brand guidelines
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
Experience supporting nonprofit, association, education, or event-driven organizations is a plus
