Visual Communications - Armed with a Camera Fellowship
Visual Communications will work with the Fellows for 12‑15 months, starting in Fall 2026. Fellows will create media works that will world‑premiere at the 43rd edition of the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. Each Fellow will receive a $2,500 personal stipend and a $2,500 project stipend.

Eligibility

SoCal‑based Asian American, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander artists.

Eligible for the 2026‑2027 cohort; theme: “MOVEMENT”.

Responsibilities

Develop and produce a media project that reflects the theme and engages community audiences.

Collaborate with mentors and advisors to refine artistic and technical aspects of the project.

Prepare the final production for premiere at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.

Benefits
Each Fellow receives a $2,500 personal stipend and a $2,500 project stipend to support the creation of their media works.
