Job description:OverviewJoin our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Supervisor Assistant on the first shift! As a key team member, you will assist in overseeing daily manufacturing activities, coordinate with operators, and help keep the production line running smoothly. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute to a productive and efficient factory environment where every task matters.DutiesAssist the production supervisor in managing daily manufacturing operations during the first shift to meet production goals.Support assembly line activities by ensuring equipment and tools are properly maintained and available for use.Help coordinate the movement of materials using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, adhering to safety protocols.Conduct routine inspections of machinery, hand tools, and power tools to ensure they are in safe working condition.Support team members with mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs using basic mechanical knowledge.Maintain accurate records of production output, inventory levels, and safety checks throughout the shift.Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures and assisting with safety audits within the manufacturing facility.SkillsProven experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on assembly line exposure.Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment such as forklifts.Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable to understand material handling processes.Familiarity with forklift operation and certification is preferred but not required; training can be provided.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supporting supervisors effectively.Basic understanding of safety standards related to manufacturing operations and equipment handling.
