Responsibilities Business Development operates as the engine of the agency, shaping client portfolio and ensuring workflow. The Manager tracks and reports new business and growth opportunities through the pipeline, chronicling wins, and analyzing performance.
Maintain an understanding of agency’s business model, value proposition, current portfolio and revenue drivers.
Accurately record all new business wins and losses, year over year.
Input, update, and ensure accuracy of all deals in the agency’s CRM in real time or weekly.
Prepare weekly new‑business reports and leadership updates on active deals and pipeline health.
Maintain archives of proposals and presentations.
Maintain a library of best‑in‑class client work samples, collecting new agency work and related branding results.
Assist in developing business‑development tools (links, curated work samples, case studies, portfolios) to attract prospects.
Liaise with account and creative leads to provide curated work samples that unlock organic growth.
Work with cross‑disciplinary teams (biz dev, account management, creative, finance, video, digital, media, activation, social media, PR) on assembly and delivery of portfolios, proposals/RFP responses, and presentations.
Organize meetings to ensure on‑time execution and manage relationships with external agents.
Help develop, edit, and proofread tailored proposals, presentations, and pitch deck content.
Ensure process adherence, efficiency, and quality assurance.
Skills and Experience Strong knowledge of or interest in marketing, communications, and creative services.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent communication.
Good business judgment and commercial acumen.
Self‑starter who can work independently and within a larger department.
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast‑paced, sometimes high‑pressure environment.
Four‑year college/university degree, preferably in business or marketing/advertising/communications.
Related agency and sales experience – three to five years preferred.
Apple Keynote and Microsite Office experience preferred.
How We Work The agency operates largely from a relationship‑based model with a focus on collaboration. Work is conducted from the office 4 days per week.
Hiring Rate Minimum: $67,500 annually
Maximum: $90,000 annually
