Outside Sales Advisor

Location: Santa Cruz, CA Company: Trident Society
Compensation: Total pay $85k to $100k+ plus uncapped commissions, bonus, and monthly contests. Base pay $17.00/hour.
Responsibilities

Generate sales using company‑provided leads from web, direct mail response, and in‑person restaurant seminars. Close sales primarily via phone or in‑person visits.
Requirements

Strong “one call/visit close” ability
Ability to multi‑task, set priorities, and manage appointments
Experience with in‑home and/or seminar‑based sales preferred
Independent, self‑reliant, self‑motivated, and able to work virtually
Education

High school education or equivalent
1–2 years of college or equivalent experience preferred
Certification / License

Current state/province issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Complete PAA Curriculum Certification at Dignity University within first 30 days
California Limited Life Individual Agent License
Experience

2–5 years of Business‑to‑Consumer, inside home/remote sales experience (preferred but not required)
1–2 years of industry experience preferred
3–5 years of transferable experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Exceptional level of professionalism
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient computer skills; tablet experience preferred
Comfortable giving sales presentations to seniors 65+
Reliable transportation, own a cell phone
Strong problem‑solving and solution‑providing ability
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently

Work Conditions

Work indoors and outdoors all seasons. Limited local travel and visiting customers’ homes and businesses. Business casual attire required when meeting customers.
Frequent, continuous standing and sitting periods; may need to climb stairs. Manual dexterity required for paperwork, calculator, computer, iPad, phone usage. Move, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.
Varied hours depending on customer needs. May work beyond standard hours and travel locally as required.
