We are a growing social media marketing agency that works with a variety of small businesses to create engaging content, build brand awareness, and drive results through social media. We're looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media Marketing Coordinator to join our team.
This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the company. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, develop their marketing skills, and grow alongside our team. This is a primarily work-from-home position, though occasional travel throughout Northern New Jersey will be required for client content shoots and meetings.
Responsibilities
Client Account Management
- Create monthly social media content calendars
- Research target audience and discover current trends
- Create engaging text, video, and image content
- Write captions and social media copy
- Edit Reels and short-form video content
- Schedule and publish content across platforms
- Conduct outbound engagement to support account growth
- Film content with clients during scheduled content days
- Support additional marketing and administrative projects as needed
Marketing & Communications
- Create and send email newsletters
- Assist with marketing campaigns and promotions
- Stay up to date on social media trends and platform updates
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Canva
- Experience editing short-form video content
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Reliable transportation for meetings throughout Northern New Jersey
