St. John’s Episcopal Church is seeking a full-time Communications Manager to oversee and strengthen the parish communications, digital presence, and brand. This position plays a central role in telling the story of parish life clearly, beautifully, and consistently across print, email, social media, web, and video platforms.
St. John’s is a fast‑paced and highly collaborative parish environment with an active worship, formation, and events calendar. The Communications Manager supports the mission of the Church by communicating in a way that is both informative and evangelistic, inspiring parish involvement and spiritual growth.
This position reports directly to the Rector and works closely with clergy, staff, ministry leaders, volunteers, and musicians across the life of the parish.
The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of communications experience—and is proactive, organized, and flexible. This role requires the ability to take initiative, respond graciously in a dynamic environment, and contribute to the common goals of the parish with humility, creativity, and professionalism. It’s also important to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt quickly, and communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders.
