ABOUT CORRENTI
Correnti Marketing is a boutique content marketing and branding agency based in York, Maine, specializing in law firms and professional services organizations. Our clients are boutique, busy practices that rely on us to translate their expertise into content that builds trust, drives visibility, and brings in new business.

We’re a small, tight-knit team. Everyone here owns their work, operates with a high degree of trust and autonomy, and genuinely cares about doing great work for our clients. We’re not looking to fill a role, we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of what we’re building.

THE ROLE
The Copywriter + Marketing Specialist is the primary content production engine at Correnti Marketing. You’ll write across formats (social media, blog posts, website copy, email campaigns, and more) for a client roster of primarily law firms and professional services organizations. You’ll work closely with our Client Manager, who handles client relationships and translates client needs into briefs, so you can stay focused on the writing.

This role is right for you if you’re a strong, versatile writer who takes pride in getting a client’s voice exactly right and can manage multiple projects simultaneously without dropping balls. On a team this size, there’s real room to grow beyond your job title, and we actively encourage it.

RESPONSIBILITIES
CONTENT CREATION

Write social media copy that engages audiences and reflects each client’s distinct brand voice

Produce SEO-optimized blog posts that drive organic traffic for client websites

Write and edit website copy that converts visitors and clearly communicates value

Develop email marketing campaigns and sequences for client audiences

Write one-pagers, press releases, and presentation copy as needed

BRAND VOICE + QUALITY

Research and internalize each client’s brand voice, audience, and competitive positioning

Maintain consistency across all written touchpoints for each client

Proofread and self-edit all copy before submission — zero typos, correct grammar, on‑brand

Fact‑check all claims and verify accuracy before content is published

COLLABORATION+ WORKFLOW

Use client briefs as the foundation; ask smart clarifying questions upfront rather than after a first draft

Incorporate revision feedback constructively and efficiently

Manage multiple concurrent client projects and meet all deadlines

Maintain organized file management and version control in shared systems

Loop in the Client Manager or CEO when a request falls outside the brief

SEO + PERFORMANCE

Implement keyword strategies naturally across written content

Understand search intent and write copy that serves both readers and algorithms

Stay current with SEO best practices and content marketing trends

Optimize existing copy for performance when requested

Prior experience working at a marketing agency or managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.

A portfolio demonstrating versatile, high‑quality work across formats

Exceptional self‑editing — first drafts should be clean

Reliable project management: you hit deadlines and communicate proactively when something shifts

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Proficiency with Google Workspace, WordPress, and social media platforms

Must reside in Maine, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts

Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or related field

Authorized to work in the United States
