Oncology Account Executive, Charleston SC
Field-based professional with scientific and clinical expertise to support our oncology portfolio of liquid biopsy products. Responsible for driving sales volume for BillionToOne’s Northstar Liquid biopsy products and services, while cultivating relationships with oncologists and other members of the extended cancer care community in the designated geography. Report to a Regional Manager - Oncology.
Responsibilities
Increase revenue and drive market development through direct sales to individual oncologists.
Create and implement a strategic business plan to grow revenue quickly in your geography.
Prospect and cultivate new business, and maintain key relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated successful sales track record (e.g., Presidents Club, Chairman’s Club, Rookie of the Year, or consistent success at or above goal for multiple quarters/years).
Experience selling to medical providers.
Experience selling medical diagnostics, medical or surgical devices.
Lives within the defined territory and centrally located to defined accounts.
Commitment to travel within defined territory.
Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to present to internal and external customers.
Effective time‑management skills and ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
Highly self‑motivated, results‑oriented, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills and ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Act with a sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
Consultative sales skills, logistics coordination, and problem‑solving for medical professionals and staff.
Strong desire to work in a startup environment and work independently with internal drive for success.
Additional Considerations
Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Registered Nurse (RN) with experience ordering late‑stage cancer liquid biopsy tests.
Benefits and Compensation
Base pay plus uncapped commissions, generous equity options, and industry‑leading company benefits including free healthcare options, 401(k) match, generous paid parental leave, supplemental fertility benefits, retirement savings program, and more.
Total compensation range: $244,621 – $314,449 per year (at plan), including a base salary range of $170,871 – $186,949 per year.
