Kester Search Group is partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare technology and diagnostics organization seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead a high-performing commercial team focused on advanced oncology and precision medicine solutions.
This leadership role is responsible for driving regional growth, developing sales strategy, coaching and developing field representatives, and expanding relationships across health systems, academic medical centers, cancer centers, and other key healthcare stakeholders.
Territory

New England (Eastern ½ of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island)
Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of field-based sales professionals to achieve regional revenue and growth objectives.
Develop and execute regional business plans, sales strategies, and market expansion initiatives.
Build and strengthen relationships with executive leadership, healthcare providers, pathology groups, oncology practices, health systems, and key strategic accounts.
Coach, mentor, and develop sales talent through regular field engagement, performance management, and training initiatives.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within complex healthcare organizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, market access, clinical, and executive leadership to drive commercial success.
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM utilization.
Lead regional sales meetings and ongoing professional development activitie
Ideal Background

3+ years of leadership experience managing healthcare sales teams, preferably overseeing 8+ direct reports.
Strong experience within diagnostics, genomics, biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare technology markets.
Oncology and molecular diagnostics experience highly preferred.
Demonstrated success leading teams in complex, consultative sales environments.
Experience selling to C-suite executives, health system leadership, academic medical centers, and large integrated delivery networks.
Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top-performing sales talent.
Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, payer dynamics, and commercial strategy.
Experience utilizing CRM platforms and data-driven sales management practices.
Exceptional communication, presentation, coaching, and strategic planning skills
Education

Bachelor's degree required.MBA or advanced business degree preferred
