En tant que titulaire de ce poste, vous ferez partie d’une équipe composée d’experts en média de Glassroom et de Metro Inc. Vous serez responsable de façonner et d’exécuter des campagnes publicitaires d’envergure sur plusieurs secteurs d’activité (épicerie conventionnelle, épicerie à escompte, épicerie en-ligne, pharmacie, et loyauté). Votre travail consistera à identifier et atteindre les publics cibles, à extraire des insights pertinents, ainsi qu’à évaluer le succès des campagnes. Vous serez également chargé de superviser et de coacher au besoin des membres juniors de l’équipe afin d’assurer le bon fonctionnement des différentes campagnes sous votre responsabilité. Vous agirez à titre d’expert-conseil pour nos clients.

Growing Independent Media Agency, Glassroom focuses on transparent advertiser‑agency relationships, the professional development of its experts, and continuous improvement. In this laboratory, we aim to transform brilliant media strategies into inspiring business results. As the holder of this position, you will be responsible for leading the account of one of our key clients and managing a talented team in Quebec, while also developing the agency's expertise in strategy and building strong relationships with our media partners and clients.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Media Strategy and Planning
Collect and analyze market data to gather relevant insights;
Identify target audiences and understand their behavior and habits;
Determine the best media mix for campaigns;
Optimize advertising campaigns based on geographic exposure, frequency, durations, etc.;
Allocate budgets and monitor campaign performance ratios (BCR);
Keep up with trends in both online and offline media (TV shows, magazines, blogs, radio programs) and stay informed on new media channels;
Evaluate the success of media strategies and campaigns;
Play a key role in advancing structural projects (e.g., media training, ethnic planning, millennial targeting);
Act as a key player in internal and external discussions and collaborations
Team Supervision
Support team members in executing their responsibilities;
Contribute to the ongoing training of the strategy team;
Manage daily workload distribution in collaboration with the leadership team (e.g., leading weekly team status meetings, one‑on‑one touchpoints with team members);
Improve team workflows to generate more added value for strategic expertise.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in planning across all national media channels;
2 years of team supervision experience;
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field;
Strong skills in media research and expertise in media planning tools and databases (Vividata, Comscore, NLogic (Numeris), Radius, COMMB, Arima);
Solid understanding of SEM and programmatic social media advertising;
Advanced knowledge of optimization best practices (interest in optimization via MMM is a plus);
Experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics is an asset;
Basic knowledge of data management platforms (DMPs);
Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite;
Minimum 1 year of experience in the retail or CPG category;
Bilingual (English and French).
