Job Summary
The Regional Sales Director will drive growth in a high‑performing territory covering the Mid Atlantic . This independent contributor role focuses on acquiring and expanding relationships with individual brokers, producer groups, and national accounts. The role is fully remote with significant travel (~40% of the time).
Responsibilities
- Implement key account strategies and processes, including Gold Sheet, action plan, and strategic marketing plan.
- Develop and manage existing broker/account relationships and recruit new brokers/accounts.
- Communicate regularly with the DBS team regarding account status, key issues, and onboarding progress.
- Maintain and expand industry, carrier, and product knowledge.
- Contribute to overall agency success and profitability.
- Meet or exceed assigned account production goals.
Education and Experience
- Past sales and relationship management experience in the life insurance industry.
- FINRA Series 6, 7, or 63 license required.
- College degree or other higher education preferred.
- Valid Life and Health License.

- Leadership, organizational, and people skills.
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Team orientation and flexibility.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region 40–50% of the time.
- Budget management and proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce (or similar CRM), and expense‑management software such as Concur.
- Ability to learn new business and communication systems quickly.
- High focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and a strong work ethic.
- Proactive adaptation to change and sense of urgency.
