AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand in the cloud. We partner with customers, AWS Sales, and other teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services, particularly within the Games vertical.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Solutions Architecture team and serve as a key member of the business development team.
- Hire, enable, and develop an industry‑leading team of solutions architects.
- Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads, supporting digital transformation and journey to the cloud.
- Support achievement of revenue objectives through the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto the AWS platform, in partnership with the sales team.
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure successful cloud deployments.
- Contribute to AWS internal and customer‑facing publications such as white‑papers and blogs to scale knowledge.
- Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support to address customer needs.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer‑facing resources or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
- 7+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or 12+ years of related work experience.
- Familiarity with low‑latency, high‑throughput workloads.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
- Experience in the Games industry (supporting title development, release, or live ops) or in designing/architecting new and existing systems.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience hiring, developing, and managing high‑performing technical teams.
