Job Description
The FFE Interior Designer will assist our Senior Designers for new clubs, existing portfolio, and renovations, while managing their own project locations.
Responsibilities
Organize, compile specifications and track FF&E board and budgets for new clubs and renovation projects
Coordinate furniture quotations with vendors, manage FF&E invoice processing, and oversee shipment logistics, delivery scheduling, and installation coordination to ensure successful project execution
Lead FFE design initiatives
Frequent collaboration with internal Architecture & Planning team and cross‑functional departments such as operations, facilities and club locations
Coordinate and support the design process with a variety of outside F&B vendors
Travel for furniture installs as required
Manage and organize internal materials library with updates from vendor representatives
Create InDesign presentations, spreadsheets in Excel, and text documents in Word
Create floor plans, interior elevations, and cabinetry details in AutoCAD
Put together Flame Report for the Fire Department in new club districts: order Flame Certificate from vendors, complete forms for finishes, and order finishes
Manage weekly package of deliverables for senior design team
Become familiar with Equinox spatial requirements and FFE standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design
4+ years of FF&E‑focused interior design experience with luxury residential and/or hospitality portfolio
Experience in high‑end furniture, rugs, lighting, art & accessory sourcing a plus
Highly proficient at AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and rendering knowledge with strong graphic and digital presentation skills
Detail‑oriented, organized and enjoys problem solving
Strong collaboration and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage procurement and vendor relationships
Has a passion for all things design related and ability to take initiative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay Transparency: $35 - $40/hr
