Associate Account Executive – St. Louis, MO

Responsibilities

Expand sales of Ethicon US, LLC products and convert competitive products in compliance with company policy and sales direction.
Support the aligned Area/Region for all sales‑related activities; successful completion may lead to competing for a full Account Executive role.
Be trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of Ethicon products to healthcare providers in an operating room setting.
Execute the sales cycle in a concise, professional, ethical manner, driving customers to action.
Understand and demonstrate proper preparation and surgical use of all Ethicon products.
Manage customer product questions and objections consistently with sales training methodology.
Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods learned during training.
Provide case coverage and assist surgeons through strategic platforms and products in the operating room.
Comply with standards for safe behavior and demonstrate product, procedure, and clinical knowledge.
Conduct business in accordance with the Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies and procedures.
Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree; 0‑2 years business experience; willingness to travel as necessary (overnight and/or weekend) and/or relocate to an assigned geography; valid driver’s license issued by the United States.
Preferred:

2+ years of professional experience; established business planning and forecasting experience; Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business; experience selling in a new or changed sales channel; strong desire to learn and grow professionally; excellence in process management and organizational agility; documentation of successful sales performance; ability to work in an operating room.
Under 18: may need to obtain necessary working papers or other documentation required by state law, plus parent’s consent for background check.
