Content Creator, Latin & Diaspora Communities (Temporary-to-Potential Full-Time)
Location: Culver City, California
Hybrid: On-site 4 days per week
Pay Rate: $23/hour
About the Role: Our client is seeking a temporary Content Creator to join their digital marketing team, with the potential to convert to full-time for the right candidate. This individual will work across a diverse roster of artists, with a particular focus on creating engaging content for Latin and other diaspora communities within the United States. The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in music, internet culture, and social media trends, and understands how to create content that sparks conversation, builds audiences, and ultimately drives music consumption.
What You'll Do
Create engaging, culturally relevant social content that generates interest and awareness for artists
Identify emerging trends, conversations, and opportunities across social media platforms
Develop and execute content strategies that align artists and music releases with relevant audiences
Produce, edit, and distribute content across social channels
Drive audience engagement and conversation around content and artist campaigns
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to support artist growth and audience development
Analyze content performance and optimize strategies based on results
Stay current on social media trends, internet culture, and developments across Latin and global music scenes
What We're Looking For
Fluent or native Spanish speaker
Deep knowledge of Latin music and culture, with awareness of broader global music communities
Passion for music, social media, and digital storytelling
Experience creating content for social platforms, including editing, design, and copywriting
Strong understanding of internet culture and current social trends
Self-starter who can independently identify opportunities and execute creative ideas
Highly creative, curious, and proactive
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and balancing individual and team goals
Motivated by making a measurable impact and helping artists build audiences
Preferred Experience
Experience building and growing social media accounts
Proven ability to create content that has generated strong engagement and/or viral reach
Demonstrated success developing content strategies and executing them across multiple platforms
Portfolio of content creation work, including examples of content you have personally produced, edited, designed, and published
