Overview Konica Minolta is seeking a Public Sector Account Manager to lead strategic growth within the Public Sector by managing government accounts, executing contract‑driven sales strategies, and ensuring compliance across cooperative agreements and procurement vehicles.
Responsibilities Manage and grow public sector accounts using established contract vehicles and cooperative agreements
Develop and execute territory strategies to win new government business and expand existing accounts
Build relationships with agency stakeholders, procurement officials, and decision‑makers
Partner with sales leadership and contract teams to align on bid strategy, pricing, and compliance
Ensure adherence to public sector procurement regulations, contract terms, and reporting requirements
Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity tracking within CRM systems
Lead proposal development, RFP responses, and customer presentations
Drive account retention through ongoing engagement and contract value optimization
Monitor legislative changes, competitive landscape, and government market trends
Qualifications 5+ years of experience in government sales, federal/state/local contracting, or public sector account management
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements
Experience with RFPs, bids, and contract negotiations
Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and pipeline forecasting
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Ability to travel within assigned territory
