We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Vice President of Marketing to lead the development and implementation of our US marketing strategy at this critical inflection point.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The VP, Marketing will build and lead the commercial marketing function, shaping brand strategy and preparing the organization for potential launch. This leader will play a key role in translating Phase 3 data into a compelling value proposition, ensuring readiness across stakeholders including healthcare professionals, patients, payers, and investors.

This is a high-impact role requiring strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced, pre-commercial environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership

Lead the development of global marketing strategy in anticipation of Phase 3 data readout and potential commercialization

Translate clinical data into differentiated product positioning and messaging

Define target customer segments, value propositions, and brand strategy

Partner with executive leadership to shape the overall commercial vision and launch roadmap

Pre-Launch & Launch Readiness

Establish the marketing function; build and execute pre-launch plans, including disease awareness, market shaping initiatives, and stakeholder education

Develop go‑to‑market strategies aligned with regulatory timelines and data milestones

Ensure readiness for rapid pivot from data readout to launch execution

Collaborate closely with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial Operations

Brand & Lifecycle Management

Establish and evolve brand identity, messaging, and promotional strategy

Oversee development of HCP and patient marketing campaigns

Prepare lifecycle planning and indication expansion strategies

Insights & Analytics

Leverage market research, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to inform strategy

Monitor market dynamics and adapt positioning based on emerging data

Define KPIs and measure effectiveness of marketing initiatives

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Clinical Development and Medical Affairs to ensure scientific alignment

Work with Investor Relations and Corporate Communications to support external messaging around data milestones

Support business development and corporate strategy initiatives as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
Required

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD, MD) preferred

15+ years of biopharma/biotech experience, including significant marketing leadership roles

Proven success in pre-launch and product launch, ideally including Phase 3–to–commercial transition

Deep understanding of clinical data and ability to translate data into compelling market positioning

Experience in specialty therapeutics (e.g., oncology, rare disease, immunology) preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Familiarity with regulatory and promotional compliance requirements

Preferred

Experience in small-to-mid-size biotech or emerging commercial organization

Track record of building marketing capabilities from the ground up

Experience in liver or cardiometabolic disease
