This role involves providing technical support for corporate events, including All-Hands meetings and other internal and external gatherings. The position requires setting up and breaking down event equipment, integrating communication platforms, and troubleshooting audio-visual systems. The technician will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless event execution and support for both in-person and remote participants.
Key responsibilities include:
Support All-Hands meetings and larger internal/external events.
Manage the setup and breakdown of event equipment.
Integrate company communication platforms with physical meeting spaces.
Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues in event spaces.
Collaborate with Workplace and Facilities teams on venue preparations.
Develop technical plans for corporate events.
Provide guidance to Level 1 technicians on equipment standards.
Support remote employee participation in hybrid events.
Participate in cross-departmental planning meetings for upcoming events.
Train and mentor Level 1 technicians.
Assist with equipment procurement recommendations.
Required qualifications include:
Experience:
5+ years of direct industry experience coordinating and delivering internal event support in the tech sector, including for executive meetings, trainings, investor meetings, and all-company events.
Experience with large-scale events
Technical skills:
Expertise in supporting and troubleshooting enterprise event AV including QSC, Yamaha, Vizrt, Ross, Barco, Blackmagic, Cisco, and Logitech.
Proficiency with video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Meet, Teams, and Webex.
Experience operating professional presentation hardware like video switchers, audio mixers, and PTZ camera controls.
Familiarity with AV over IP (QSC QLAN, Crestron NVX, Dante, NDI), IT ticketing systems, and enterprise networking technologies.
