Account Executive – Commercial Pest Management
Join Rentokil’s Commercial Pest Management team as an Account Executive. In this role, you will sell pest control services and products to new and existing commercial customers while maintaining a customer‑focused service to grow the business.
Responsibilities
Create new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, leads, referrals, and cross‑selling.
Visually inspect buildings for pests, pest harborage, and entry points.
Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance based on assessment findings.
Craft territory development strategies to exceed sales targets.
Maintain complete knowledge of Rentokil’s programs, protocols, pricing policies, and service offerings.
Build partnerships and collaborate with internal departments to maximize growth opportunities and deliver outstanding service solutions.
Complete daily activities and sales performance reporting using the company sales CRM.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license from the current state of residence.
Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
Preferred: Two years of B2B sales experience, especially in prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, and networking.
Self‑motivated with a hunter’s mentality and the ability to work independently.
Willingness to obtain any required industry licenses (provided by the company).
Travel up to 100% of the time within the assigned territory.
Physical Demands
Physical activities include lifting up to 10lb. regularly and 11–20lb. frequently, moving around, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, stair, ladder, scaffolding, ramp, and pole movement, maintaining balance on narrow or slippery surfaces, and operating a motor vehicle. PPE such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator may be required.
Travel
Up to 100% travel within the assigned territory is required.
