ROCKWOOL is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager – Residential, based in our Chicago office (60638), to join the ROCKWOOL Marketing Team. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Branding and has no direct reports.

Responsibilities

Own the development and management of key retail media initiatives including Lowe’s One Roof Media and Home Depot, Orange Apron Media campaigns.

Develop & execute strategic channel marketing plans – annual plans include product launches, advertising, merchandising, promotions, sponsorships, PR, social media, and marketing materials in collaboration with Marketing, Key Account Managers, and customers.

Create marketing assets – develop and refresh POP, video, photography, sales enablement tools, and end‑user content tailored to target audiences.

Drive lead generation – execute digital campaigns using industry‑leading tools and marketing automation platforms.

Deliver product training – provide internal and external training on products, applications, and installation best practices; coordinate internally with Technical Services and Building Science teams.

Enable field sales success – recommend tools, processes, and platforms that support residential market needs and sales performance.

Manage digital presence – oversee all channel and stakeholder content across ROCKWOOL digital platforms and third‑party sites.

Plan advertising & media strategy – create annual advertising and media plans with agency partners that support brand messaging and residential channel goals.

Monitor performance metrics – track monthly/quarterly sales targets by product, channel, and customer; measure marketing contribution to revenue and growth targets.

Provide market insights – share field feedback and market research with Product Management on new products, positioning, and business planning.

Support Training & Enablement – coordinate development of training materials and sales tools across Marketing, Product Management, Technical Services, and Building Science.

Execute trade shows – lead regional initiatives and support national trade show efforts.

Ensure compliance & consistency – coordinate internal reviews of all marketing materials with Corporate Legal, Technical Services, and Building Science for brand and technical accuracy.

Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to ensure strategic alignment, optimise budgets, and drive synergies across residential channel initiatives.

Develop customised social media strategies and content calendars that leverage insights with collaboration from Digital Marketing.

Qualifications

5+ years Marketing/Sales experience in the building materials space (preferred).

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communications.

Direct experience managing retail media platforms for Lowe’s One Roof Media and Home Depot, Orange Apron Media.

Experience with field sales and channel dynamics.

Proficiency with digital marketing tools (Marketo, Google Data Studio, Dynamics CRM, Adobe Creative Cloud).

Data‑driven analytical mindset; technical aptitude and critical thinking skills.

Proficiency with SAP or similar business systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

The base salary range for this position is $95,000.00 – $115,000.00. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. This position is bonus eligible.
