Akkodis is seeking a Content Producer for a 6 Months contract role with a client in Santa Monica, CaliforniaTitle: Content ProducerLocation: Santa Monica, CaliforniaContract: 6 Months contractPay Rate: $30-$35/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and curate timely, trending, and culturally relevant public contentCollaborate with Trend Curators and Producers to deliver engaging contentTrack daily trends, tentpole moments, and emerging topicsReact quickly to breaking or unexpected cultural momentsDiscover and work with emerging content creatorsSurface fresh, trending, publicly submitted contentReview and moderate content in real-timeAnalyze large volumes of content to identify themes and conversationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, moderation, product)Communicate and resolve platform/content issues during shiftsRequired Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of US short-form video trends & pop cultureDeep understanding of Gen Alpha, Gen Z, and MillennialsHighly proactive, reactive, and detail-orientedStrong research and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationSharp editorial judgment and content curation skillsUp-to-date with current events and social media trendsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field1+ years experience in digital media, content, or social trendsAbility to work flexible schedules (evenings/weekends)Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in a similar digital/content platform environmentExperience across multiple social media platformsDemonstrated interest in short-form content creationFlexible availability for night and weekend shiftsEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
