Job Summary
Provides research and analysis of Georgia Southern’s football student‑athletes and opponents. Manages Just Play software and delivers statistical analyses to coaching staff. Works with the coaching staff and team at all home and away games to support game planning and preparation.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of Just Play software, collect data, format analysis for coaching staff, and engage athletes to increase sport IQ and retention.

Apply Just Play measurements in day‑to‑day operations to affect game decisions.

Analyze film data independently to assess, evaluate, and identify offensive and defensive patterns.

Prepare summary reports and statistical analyses for coaches to use in teaching, practice, and competition preparation.

Propose strategic plans, coordinate video cut‑ups, and assist with opponent and overall game‑day preparation.

Opponent preparation a week ahead.

Organize duties at practice and games.

Game‑day defensive call‑out sideline support.

Assist with on‑campus recruiting as directed by the Recruiting Coordinator.

Assist in day‑to‑day operations of the football program as instructed by the Director of Football Operations.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience: One or more years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree.

Experience: Proficiency with ARMS, XOS, and PFF software.

Salary
$15,000 per year. Exempt position paid on a monthly basis.

Support various constituencies served by the university.

Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office, Google apps, and required position applications.

Adherence to university policies and procedures.

Knowledge of NCAA and Sun Belt Conference rules.

Effective verbal and written communication, organizational, and human relations skills.

Exceptional organizational skills.

Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work generally performed in an office environment.

Work week may occasionally extend beyond 40 hours.

Travel may be required.
