Job Title: Web Content Editor
Location: Remote, CA
The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $38.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Job Summary:
Write and edit web content across digital properties, maintaining clarity, accuracy, and brand voice
Serve as a human-in-the-loop reviewer for AI-generated content prior to publication
Execute content production within a content tier framework, enforcing editorial and compliance standards
Manage incoming content requests through intake governance workflows in partnership with program and production managers
Apply SEO best practices to web copy, including metadata, headers, and keyword guidance
Conduct regular content audits to maintain accuracy across existing web pages
Partner with stakeholders across marketing, engineering, and design to support timely content execution
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in web content editing, digital content management, or a related role
Meticulous copyediting skills with strong attention to detail and consistent brand voice enforcement
Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals as applied to web content
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous requests in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and collaborative working style
Demonstrated comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) for content drafting, editing, and review
Proficiency in Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs, with ability to quickly learn new software
