Job Location: Shadow Mountain Community Church - El Cajon, CA 92019
Shadow Mountain Community Church seeks qualified applicants to fill part‑time positions in the music department. The ideal applicants will have experience serving in a church setting as a member of a band or orchestra.
The candidate fulfilling the qualifications will work directly with the Worship Pastor, Music Director, and the various worship leaders with whom they will be serving.
Responsibilities

The role of the musician is a dual role serving both as an individual with a particular instrument and as a cohesive part of the band as a whole. He/she will be responsible for attending all rehearsals and services that are scheduled with an ultimate goal of being a conduit for congregation members to respond to God through praise and worship. The candidate must be in full agreement with the mission and vision statements of Shadow Mountain Community Church.
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience serving as a musician in a church setting
Ability to follow musical ideas and notation as set forth on sheet music
Ability to memorize a piece with ease
Basic knowledge of music theory
Mature Believer
Musically gifted – knowledge and practice
Organized
Dependable
