What You'll Do

Anchor newscasts.
Cover news events throughout the shift.
Breaking news coverage.
General newsroom responsibilities.
Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need

Ability to work both weekend days and odd shifts. Flexibility with schedule to help with fill‑in needs.
Well‑rounded communication skills for conducting interviews.
Excellent writing and editing skills; proficient in grammar.
Proficiency in media production and broadcast systems.
Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
3+ years’ experience in on‑air journalism in a smaller market or college station.
4‑year college degree, preferably in Broadcast Journalism or Communications.
